Vision:

The course of Mass Communication and Electronic Journalism is devoted to excellence in teaching, student mentoring and creative endeavor. The course recruits, educates and graduates students prepared to advance in professional careers or post graduate education. In addition, our faculty provide quality creative activity and a commitment to service to professional associations, the university and the community through activities which enhance the department’s contribution to human communication, mass media, and culture.

Mission:

To let students, learn how to be responsible and creative in their media making and nurture a universal desire for free expression.


Objectives:

  • To fulfill human resource needs in media in print electronic and new media.
  • To encourage the skill building through a balance of theory and practical training.
  • To create leadership qualities & professionalism among students and prepare them to take up responsibility in media establishment.
