The Department is unique in having the most spacious infrastructure facilities like workshop building equipped with Machine Shop, Welding Shop, Foundry Shop, Carpentry Shop and Fitting Shop and full-fledged Mechanical Engineering laboratories such as:
Kinematics of Machine & Dynamics of Machine Lab, I.C. Engine Lab, Fluid Mechanics & Fluid Machinery Lab, Measurement Lab, Mechanics of Solid Lab, CAD/CAM Lab, RAC Lab, Industrial Engineering Lab & Solar Thermal Energy lab. The department has one ‘Smart
Class equipped with all the latest digital facilities’ for smooth conduction of official presentation, industrial training presentation, major and minor project presentation, seminar Presentation & other necessary work. Mechanical engineering department
has a big engineering graphics hall, equipped lecture rooms and tutorial rooms. A computer centre is established in mechanical department for students and faculty members and internet connection is also available in this centre for carried out the research
and education related work.
