Objectives

Our intended Programme Outcomes are

  • Po1: To equip the learners with critical thinking skills to assess information, identify biases, and make informed decisions.
  • Po2: To develop strong verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills and the ability to listen actively and respond appropriately for feedback.
  • Po3: To inspire for cohesive social interaction with students, colleagues, and parents along with fostering teamwork among teachers to promote collaborative learning.
  • Po4: To equip educators with the skills to educate their students about the importance of being informed and responsible citizens, promoting democracy, social justice, and equity.
  • Po5: To inspire educators to prioritize ethical standards governing the teaching profession and upholding them to the utmost degree.
  • Po6: To equip the learners with the knowledge and skills to promote sustainable practices in the teaching, and inspire them to become responsible stewards of the planet.
  • Po7: To inculcate among students the culture of continuous life-long learning and develop the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today's rapidly changing world.

Functions:

  • Prepare teacher-educators & educators recognized for the quality and significance of their teaching, research, scholarship, service, outreach, and leadership;
  • Provide widely recognized educational leadership in the improvement of teaching, learning, and the assessment of educational outcomes across the life span through research, scholarship, and technology;
  • Enhance the commitment of faculty, staff, and students to the centrality of diversity, social justice, and democratic citizenship;
  • Provide leadership in the development of collaborative, professional relationships with schools, organizations, and other institutions at the national and international levels focused on the improvement of education in schools, communities, and workplace settings;
  • Sustain a caring, supportive climate;
  • Enhance the effective and efficient educational management;
  • Produce educational films and other media for use in various university departments, DIKSHA, SWAYAMPRABHA, and other state-level & national-level digital repositories.
  • Develop Teaching-Learning Material (TLM) for use in you-tube channels; Facebook lives, WhatsApp learning groups, and other social media platforms.
  • Fulfill national and international commitments relating to Education for All (EFA) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
