Doctor of Philosophy ( Ph.D. ) in Regional Economics



Leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the integral part of academic activity in the department. So far about 45 students have been awarded Ph.D. degree in the able guidance of the faculty members of the department. Mostly the research is carried out in thrust areas. About 150 students have completed their dissertations on the various topics of importance.

The department has proposed to establish a socio-economic data bank for the development of nearby area.
