About the Advanced P.G. Diploma in Computer Application
The Programme Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application was established in 1997. This course is running under the Department of B.Ed./M.Ed. in Faculty of Education and Allied Sciences of MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. This is one year /two semester programme. The student intake is 40 per year. The department has 41 Computers. The success rate in the examinations is 100%. The thrust areas of the course are DBMS, Internet & E-Commerce and languages C, C++, VB and Java. The main objectives of the programme are to produce globally competent software developer as well as good human beings. Most of the students passed out are well placed or have opted for higher studies.
We live in the age of Information Technology (IT). Computer application has become a part of our everyday lives. Basically, computer applications refer to computing technology such as software, hardware, networking, the internet, or the community that work with these technologies.
Now-a-days computer is indispensable in almost all spheres of life such as industry, banking, business, medical, education and offices. This course is designed to acquaint the students with the latest knowledge of operating system and computer languages. The main emphasis is to develop software packages in visual basic, C, C++, Java and Oracle and also basic knowledge of Internet and e-commerce.
We have been successfully running One-year /Two Semester Ad. P.G. Diploma Course in Computer Applications since 1997 under the Department of B.Ed./M.Ed., Faculty of Education and Allied Sciences.
