The Department of Applied & Clinical Psychology was established in 1995.The University has started Two Years/ Four semester degree course of Post Graduation in Applied & Clinical Psychology during 1996-97 session

      Master’s degree in Applied and Clinical Psychology is an advanced course aimed at competence building among the students from a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective. This course has to gear itself towards both knowledge generation as well as application in different domains of discipline. This course is unique in its nature having very specialized papers such as Cognitive Psychology, Neuropsychology, Psychopathology, Psychodiagnosis, Organaisational Behaviour  , Psychotherapy and Counseling, Methods of Behaviour Research, Developmental Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology ,Community  Mental Health and Computer Application in psychology  etc
