          Science is intriguing fast in every sphere of life. Higher education in science has immense potentials and it is the call of the day that the country produces high quality scientists to prevent brain drain from the nation. Institutions and universities should pay special attention to improve the quality of science. Incidentally, there has been a spurt in the quantitative enhancement of science institutes but emphasis should be laid to inculcate quality knowledge in science for the proper upliftment of the subject. The Faculty of Applied Sciences is steadily trodding in this direction to impart quality education in science and to develop research laboratories of repute. The faculty members of the Departments are highly qualified, well exposed to foreign laboratories and are actively engaged for the development of science. The Faculty holds great promise for the incoming incumbents
