 Department Of Adult Continuing Education & Extension

 ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The Post Graduate Course in Master of Rural Development and Management will be open to students who are interested in rural development, extension work, Non-formal Education, Youth Development Programme, Adult Education, Continuing Education, Women Empowerment and Development work for Social and Economic development in Rural areas. No student shall be allowed to register simultaneously for MRDM course with any other graduate or post graduate degree run by M.J.P. Rohilkhand University or any other university or an institute for academic or professional learning.

·         ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree with 45% marks in Arts, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering, NaturalSciences, Physical Sciences, Home Science, Education or Commerce without any discrimination between two years or three year degree Course .
  • A good working Knowledge of Hindi and English .
  • Total seat shall be 50 including five seat for eligible Government nominees of the state.
  • Out of 50 seats 15 seats shall be reserved for female students.
  • Seats shall be reserved for SC, ST and OBC according to University / state govt. rules .
  • Bonus marks of 15 in merit index shall be given to Rohilkhand University employee's son's/ daughter/wife/Husband and to those who having N.S.S., Two camps in two year. NCC'C" certificates, Adult Education's two year's experience as Instructor or Supervisor, Game Certificate of State level team participation.
  • The Candidates should apply to the Head of the Department for admission on prescribed Application Form .
  • Admissions will be strictly on merit. Applicants in the order of the merit shall be required to appear for interview followed by group discussions for final selection.

MRDM Semester System

 

The Post - Graduate Master's Degree Course Master of Rural Development and Management shall be of two year duration. The programme consists of four semesters. It shall include 07 modules in each semester. Out of which in first to third semester six papers in theory and one paper of practical works. In fourth semester candidates shall be required to submit the Dissertation at least two weeks before the fourth semester examination.
